Meets OFSTED and EYFS Statutory Framework standards.
Our 12-hour Paediatric First Aid training course meets requirements set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework 2021 to ensure nurseries, schools, and more are keeping their children healthy and safe as they develop.

This OFSTED-accepted course focuses on how to manage a child or baby who is ill or has injured themselves in everyday situations and emergencies. As standard, this course comes with Anaphylaxis Awareness and Epi-Pen® training, as well as the use of a defibrillator for children.
We can deliver training in your workplace in Berkshire and surrounding areas. Upon completion of training delegates will receive a Level 3 certificate valid for three years and a handy digital booklet to refer to after training.

Emergency Paediatric First Aid (One Day):

Be able to assess an emergency situation and prioritise what action to take

Help a baby or child who is unresponsive and breathing normally

Help a baby or child who is unresponsive and not breathing normally

Help a baby or child who is having a seizure

Help a baby or child who is choking
-
Help a baby or child who is bleeding

Help a baby or child who is suffering from shock caused by severe blood loss (hypovolaemic shock)
Full Course Covering Emergency PFA Content Plus:

Help a baby or child who is suffering from anaphylactic shock

Help a baby or child who has had an electric shock

Help a baby or child who has burns or scalds

Help a baby or child who has a suspected fracture

Help a baby or child with a head, neck or back injuries

Help a baby or child who is suspected of being poisoned

Help a baby or child with a foreign body in the eyes, ears or nose
